Games Workshop have previewed two new commemorative miniatures.
Revealed today, the first of these new miniatures is an Exalted Hero of Chaos, Urkhan the Dark Warden. This suitably imposing champion of the Ruinous Powers will come with a choice of helmet with horns and the prerequisite eight-pointed star, or a snarling, scarred visage.
This Chaotic collectible will drop in time for Warhammer Day and will be available while stocks last.
In the interests of impartiality, no doubt, Games Workshop will also release this brand-new Space Marine captain on the very same day.
Mon capitaine comes with a choice of heads, a jump pack and a relic shield. He can also be built with either a thunder hammer or a chainsword, making him eminently suitable for felling trees and knocking down walls.
As with Urkhan, this miniature will be available to pre-order before Warhammer Day, but he will be released in Games Workshop shops on the big day itself. Don’t worry if you miss the pre-order; he is destined to join the standard Space Marine range soon after Warhammer Day.
See the Games Workshop website for more details.

An imposing miniature of Urkhan the Dark Warden, an Exalted Hero of Chaos, stands prominently, adorned with a horned helmet and a flowing dark cloak. He wields a large sword, intricately detailed with symbols, and features a base with rocky terrain and sparse vegetation. A smaller inset image shows an alternate head option with a snarling, scarred face, emphasizing the character's menacing presence.
A dynamic miniature of a Space Marine captain in blue armor, poised mid-action with a thunder hammer in one hand and a relic shield in the other. He features a jump pack on his back and has a determined expression, with details like a skull emblem on his chest and a decorative shoulder pad. The base is textured with dirt and small rocks, adding to the overall dramatic presentation.
