Warcradle Rock Out With a Score of New Releases

Warcradle are seeing January out with a bang.

Revealed today on their website, Warcradle’s forthcoming releases include not only new additions to its Armoured Clash and Dystopian Wars ranges, but also a new gamebook.

Their new Armoured Clash release, the Commonwealth Heavy Regiment box contains ‘varied reinforcement options for your Commonwealth force’. These include a Matryona Heavy Transport designed to deliver Salyut Heavy Troopers into the thick of the tabletop action. Once the Matryona is on position, they Heavy Troopers are able to disembark and unleash sufficient volleys of rockets to ‘clear a path for the Commonwealth advance’. It is then the job of the Omsk Cryo Transports to ‘grind through the subsequent wreckage’ in order to deliver their incumbent troopers into the thick of the fighting.

Meanwhile, the new Japanese Frontline Squadrons are designed to expand your Japanese Dystopian Wars fleet. Said squadrons use a combination of ‘alchemical weaponry, deadly gases and unquenchable flames’ to destroy their enemies. This fleet includes a variety of squadrons composed of various cruisers, monitors, frigates and the Oni Command Cruiser; this last vessel brings ‘some of the Empire’s advanced generator technology to the frontlines’.

These new releases also include a brand new 'Choose Your Own Adventure’ style gamebook, as written by Jonathan Green (Fighting Fantasy, ACE Gamebooks, Black Library). Entitled Valiant, this book places readers into the thick of the Dystopian Age, there to ‘decide the fate of […] the Crown’.

All of these new goodies are due to be released early March 2026.
