The Grand Armies of the RedMakers March To Their End

A striking promotional image showcases two detailed sci-fi miniatures from RedMakers' "The Grand Army Collection." On the left, a soldier in tactical gear holds a large firearm, while on the right, another figure wields a sword and sports a menacing helmet. In the background, a multitude of additional miniatures is visible, emphasizing the extensive range of over 1000 STL files available for wargamers and collectors. Bold text at the bottom highlights "ENTIRE ARMIES AT A FRACTION OF THE COST!"

Body

Are you thinking, ‘my pile of shame isn’t quite big enough’? Well, fear not, because RedMakers’ new Kickstarter has even more new and unpainted sci-fi miniatures with your name on them!

Entitled The Grand Army Collection, this raft of new grimdark miniatures has been sculpted by Adeptus Miniatures and crafted for wargamers and collectors. These figures are 28mm in scale and include ‘a full arsenal of dark sci-fi forces for your tabletop’; these range from ‘disciplined Loyalist regiments to twisted Heretics.’

A collection of unpainted sci-fi miniatures is displayed, featuring a prominent central figure holding a rifle, surrounded by various infantry units in different poses. The miniatures are in a gray, unpainted finish, showcasing detailed armor and weaponry. Additional elements include heavy weapon crews, a flag, and various command and special weapon units, all arranged in a grid format against a dark background.

In case you were wondering, the model count on this campaign is almost biblical in its proportions. We’re not talking a paltry squad or two; this campaign literally includes entire armies. Seriously, there are enough minis in this campaign to keep even the most ardent miniature painter / addict smacked off its tits until at least February … maybe even March.

A collection of unpainted sci-fi miniatures is displayed, featuring a central figure in a tactical pose, holding a weapon, and wearing armor with various details. Surrounding this main figure are multiple smaller miniatures, including infantry units, heavy weapon crews, and command squad members, all in a similar design style. The figures are presented in a monochromatic gray, showcasing their intricate sculpting and various poses, set against a dark textured background.

The Grand Army Collection features more than twenty complete loyalist and heretical armies. Each of these is composed of various units, including:

• 10–20 Infantry units

• 12 Heavy Weapon crew units

• Four Special Weapon units

• Four Command Squad troopers

• One Commander

A prominent sci-fi miniature stands in the foreground, holding a large weapon and wearing detailed armor with spikes and a mask. Surrounding this central figure are numerous smaller miniatures, showcasing a variety of poses and weaponry, all rendered in a gray, unpainted finish. The background features a dark, textured design with a striking red gradient, enhancing the grimdark aesthetic of the collection.

Also, for those of you who want to really embrace that buyer’s regret, you can also add a whole slew of extras to your pledge, including heavy weapons, banners (my favourite of which appears to have a winged penis emblazoned on it) and logo kits.

A collection of various flags and banners designed for sci-fi miniatures, displayed on a dark background. The left side features several flags with intricate designs, including skulls and symbols, while the right side showcases more elaborate banners with flowing elements and a prominent central emblem. One specific flag is highlighted with a red circle, drawing attention to its unique design.

The Grand Army Collection ends at 3.01 PM on Christmas Day (also known as today). See the Kickstarter campaign for more details…

…And a Merry Christmas to you all. :o)
