Add Some Legendary Leaders to Your Fantasy Armies

A host of legendary leaders are about to be unleashed on your tabletop.

Coming soon to Kickstarter, Legendary Leaders promises to be the first of a series of Heavy Metal Hordes campaigns. Each of these campaigns will combine to create a host of new fantasy armies. Aimed squarely at crusty old fantasy miniature enthusiasts like myself, these new armies will boast brand new, white metal miniatures sculpted in ‘the classic style of the 80s and early 90s’. These miniatures have been designed to be played and displayed on their own, or combined with existing collections of old school miniatures.

This first campaign will focus on a variety of leaders from classic fantasy races such as orcs, skeletons, dark elves et al. The campaign’s stretch goals, if unlocked, will add champions, standard bearers and musicians to each army, thus offering backers a complete command group.

The mastermind behind the Legendary Leaders campaign, Gary Westwell, also intends to offer ‘all the regiments one would expect for each of our factions’ in due course; we look forward to seeing the results.

All miniatures in this campaign have been hand-sculpted by experienced sculptor Aaron Howdle, and will be cast in lead-free pewter.
