Only One Week To Go On Shadowrun: Anarchy 2.0 Kickstarter

The Kickstarter for Shadowrun: Anarchy 2.0 is now in its final week.

This campaign—the third run by publisher Black Book Editions—brings us an updated and reinvigorated version of the classic Shadowrun RPG.

A unique blend of both cyberpunk and fantasy roleplaying tropes, Shadowrun combines cybernetics and netrunning with swords and sorcery. Races such as humans, orcs, elves, dwarves et al wield ballistic weapons and arcane sorcery. This streamlined edition promises to take all these elements and deliver an alternative, rules-light, story-driven version designed for quick and easy gaming.

The campaign revolves around a Shadowrun: Anarchy rulebook and free GM screen. Said rulebook contains all the rules and background materials players will need to begin their exploration of this dark, magical future. Extras include a pad of character sheets, and a deluxe edition of the core rulebook.

With £184,009 pledged against a funding goal of £8,687, it’s safe to say the campaign has been something of a success; this is reflected by the unlocked stretchgoals—including extra mission briefs, pre-generated characters and a new adventure—backers can enjoy.
