TAGS Fest: Finding Your People in Edinburgh's Small Press Revival

The TAGS Fest, a Tabletop and Graphic Storytelling Festival, is set to take place at Edinburgh's Fruitmarket on October 25th and 26th, 2025. This year marks its third iteration, expanding to a full weekend and featuring over 50 independent creators and speakers who have carved out their own paths outside mainstream publishing. The festival aims to foster community and connection, especially for those in Scotland's independent publishing scene, which has faced significant challenges. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with opportunities to meet local authors, play games, and engage in discussions about creative careers. The event will also include a Board Game Zone curated by Ancient Robot Games, offering a variety of games for drop-in play.
