#GamesWorkshop staff are handing out Autarchs and vampire lords to anyone who says the magic words and hands over a bag of gold at their local shop's anniversary. Rumour has it that wearing a hat and winking gets you something even more special, including free entry on a special watch-list #warhammer #aeldari #warhammer40k #wh40k #miniatures
Games Workshop like to celebrate the anniversaries of their high street shops, and those celebrations involve limited-edition miniatures. These glorious figures change every year, and GW have whetted our appetite by giving us a look at 2026’s new inducties.
The first of these is The Path of Command Autarch. Described as ‘the greatest strategic minds and physical combatants among the Aeldari’, these elegant space elves command Asuryani warhosts in battle. In doing so, they have ‘walked the Path of the Warrior’ for centuries. Sporting ‘impressive-looking back banners’ and packing dragon fusion pistols and star glaives, these Autarch’s fight shoulder to shoulder with their Aspect Warriors and Storm Guardians.
Those of you who prefer your miniatures with a more fantastical flavour, however, can look forward to Korthrain, the Crimson Blade. A vampire ‘afflicted by the Soulblight curse’, Korthrain combines supernatural speed with preternatural strength and ‘potent sorcerous powers’. He’s also looking pretty fly with his ornate armour and elegant sword; that sword isn’t just a fashion accessory, however: he uses it to slice open his prey and turn them into a grizzly hydration station.
Both of these miniatures will be available for the first time at store anniversaries in 2026, starting in February. They’ll be available for nine days as part of your store’s celebrations.
