Audie Murphy is Ready to Make His Bolt Action Debut

A new month is upon us, and that means a new Soldier of Fortune.

This new miniature is now available from Warlord Games. The latest in their long-running series of promotional miniatures, it captures the celebrated war hero—and actor—Audie Murphy in 28mm scale action.

Murphy enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and first saw action in the Allied invasion of Sicily. By the end of WWII he would also participate in the Battle of Anzio, the liberation of Rome, and the invasion of southern France. He would also be awarded a number of medals, including the Medal of Honour.

Murphy would go on to become a movie star following the war, starring predominantly in Westerns. He would also play himself in the 1955 WWII movie To Hell and Back.

This figure is only available via the Warlord Games webstore until the 31th of August 2025.
