A new month means it time for a new Soldier of Fortune from Warlord Games.

As revealed on Warlord Games’ various social media platforms, their new promotional miniature is a veteran of Operation Chariot, Augustus Newman VC.

As a Lieutenant-Colonel attached to No. 2 Commando, Newman led the ground forces of Operation Chariot. Launched on 28th March 1942, Chariot crippled the heavily defended Normandie dry dock of St Nazaire. The loss of this dock forced Germany's largest battleship, Tirpitz, to return to home waters and expose her to further attack by British forces.

Augustus is only available via the Warlord Games webstore until midnight on July 31st. The miniature will then be unavailable for at least two years.

See the Warlord Games website for more details.
