New Warmachine Releases Previewed by Steamforged

We’ve been waiting for new Warmachine releases ever since Steamforged Games acquired the game from Privateer Press. Well, now we have some … and they don’t disappoint.

First and foremost, there’s a new starter set to look forward to. Whilst details are sketchy at present, this will be a great way to start two new armies or expand an existing collection. The set includes two small Khador and Cygnar warbands and scatter terrain, and we assume a rulebook and other goodies will also be included.

The Cryx—another old favourite amongst Warmachine fans—are also getting a lot of love from Steamforged. As someone whose Khador forces have been pummelled by Cryx numerous time, Steamforged’s new Cryx Necrofactorium Auxiliary expansion is pure nightmare fuel. It contains not only Lich Lord Dekathus and his Iron Lich Commander, but also three units of Mechanithrall Brutes, Sludge Thralls and Night Terrors. I’m already getting the jitters.

No doubt there’s a lot more Warmachine releases on the way from Steamforged, Needless to say, we’ll bring you all the latest news as and when it breaks.
