New Edition of Warmachine Rulebook Now Available for Pre-Order

Steamforged Games are preparing to release the latest edition of the Warmachine rulebook.

The world of Warmachine is embroiled in bitter combat. Warcasters and warlocks do battle for control, hurling their armies at one and other and sending ‘brutal constructs and savage creatures into battle’. And thus, the Iron Kingdoms hang in the balance.

This new set of core rules contains not only the core rules for the Warmachine tabletop wargame, but also a feast of lore and rich illustrations. and a guide to commanding your army in the Iron Kingdoms. Whether you’re new or returning, this book is essential for any Warmachine fan.

This 140+ page, hardcover rulebook includes:

A quickstart guide to the game

The core rules needed to play Warmachine

A detailed guide to Immoren and the Iron Kingdoms (the setting of the Warmachine game), their volatile history, their deities, and the factions and armies locked in perpetual war.

Oodles of artwork, and photography of painted miniatures and dioramas designed to not only inform and inspire the hobbyists amongst, but to immerse players in the world of Warmachine.

The Warmachine rulebook is currently on pre-order with a release date of December 11th, 2025. In the interim, however, the Warmachine app contains the core rules for free and is a useful tool for referencing rules and stats; it’s also a great addition to the Core Book, giving players access to army lists, stats et al.
