Games Workshop confirms Khazalite Holds Army Set preorders

Games Workshop has confirmed that the Khazalite Holds Army Set will be available to preorder during the week beginning 12th October. Announcing the news in their weekly Sunday Preview they also said that stock is limited, so the availability of the set for pre-orders is expected not to stick around too long.

The ironclad duardin living beneath the mountains of the Mortal Realms can no longer abide the scourge of Chaos, and now they march from their fortresses to settle scortes of grudges in the name of their Ancestor Gods. The Khazalite Holds have come, and their Army Set is packed with models as deadly as they are stubborn.

The box introduces the new duardin faction with a ready-to-play force led by famed hero Hjulda Drakkblud. The figures in the set are:

• Hjulda Drakkblud

• Ten Clanshields

• Three Golems of Gazul

• One Oathkeeper Cannon

The set also includes 53 warscroll cards and a copy of the Battletome: Khazalite Holds with an exclusive cover only available in this box, with a regular retail edition of the book due for release later.

The Khazalites consider themselves the truest and most respectable of all duardin, as it is they who venerate the Ancestor Gods with due reverence, and they who maintain the honourable traditions of their forebears. It is not with mercantile pragmatism or mercenary fury that the realms will be cleansed of the hated Skaven, but with stony resilience and relentless determination.

First revealed in September, the Khazalite Holds bring a new force of armoured duardin to the Mortal Realms. The battletome will also include the Fyreslayers, which Games Workshop have said are joining the Khazalite Holds. Existing Fyreslayer miniatures will remain usable with the new battletome, either in a dedicated Fyreslayers army or alongside the new Khazalite units.
