“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it's very difficult to find anyone.” Gandalf the Grey

Free League’s new The One Ring: Over Hill and Under Hill box set is now available for pre-order.

Described as a ‘beginner-friendly starter set’, this forthcoming release promises to be the ideal way to explore not only Tolkien’s timeless world, but also Free League’s The One Ring roleplaying game. The RPG also allows players to experience—and influence—the events which take place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Another example of Free League’s handsome boxed sets, The One Ring: Over the Hill includes everything veterans and neophytes alike will need to explore the region of Middle-earth known as Eriador, including:

  • Condensed rules for action resolution, combat, councils and journeys

  • A complete adventure entitled Over Hill and Under Hill

  • A large full-colour map

  • A wealth of illustrated cardboard figures

  • Five pre-generated player characters

  • Eight custom dice

A full PDF is also included.

See the Free League website for more details.
