Manchester Board Game Festival Halloween 2025

Manchester Board Game Festival is taking over The Pit and the Pendulum Hotel from October Friday 31st to Sunday November 2nd with their Halloween special. Organised by Dungeons & Flagons, expect a terrifyingly good selection of horror-themed games, a Halloween Costume Parade across all three days with prizes.

Beyond the gaming tables (and the 600 games in their library!), there's Play Test Tables for designers, a Bring and Buy for pre-loved games, and the MCR Geek Fayre running Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. James' infamous Board Game Pub Quiz returns on Saturday, followed by Board Game Bingo on Sunday - both raising money for good causes whilst testing whether you've been paying attention at all. The Play to Win shelf offers all-comers the chance to demo games and win copies, with the draw happening Sunday.

The festival runs all weekend with most areas open till late Sunday afternoon.
