Asmodee saddled with 900,000,000 euros of debt

Well, this isn't great news. Those lovelies over at Embracer seem to have saddled Asmodee with 900 million euro debt and left them adrift. Wargamer.com have a report on it which you can find here.

They have basically stuck Asmodee with debt that equals (roughly) to 3.9 times their annual profit. and they have done it to pay off a crap load of their own debt. Got to love investment groups.

This does worry me a little. Asmodee own both Atomic Mass Games and Fantasy Flight Games, along with a whole list of others including Exploding Kittens, Days of Wonder and Catan Studios to name a few.

Going to be an interesting next year to see what falls out of this.
