Following the recent release of the Old Umbrey Command Starter set and the Old Umbrey Battlegroup, Steamforged continue to explore the older, darker magic of Khador’s Old Umbrey region. Now this ongoing exploration brings us a brand new set of Umbrean characters and warbeasts.

Entitled the Old Umbrey Core Expansion, this new expansion contains a brand-new warlock, Kapitan Maksim Azlanov. As with his Umbrean comrades Bohdan Lesnoi and Kapitan Galina Lissya, Azlanov does not command warjacks, but a savage character warbeast known as the Starved.

If The Starved isn’t quite enough wolf for you, then fear not, for this battlegroup also includes a pair of Lupine Shifted werewolves and their alpha, the Lupine Apex.

Want more beasts for your buck? Then you’re in luck … well, sorta. If you had your heart set on more werewolves, then you might be disappointed … because you got goats instead.

…Not that I’m complaining; I mean, look at those horny old boys! Surely they’re the Greatest (Khador Miniatures) Of All Time, right? Right.
And, finally, this new set is rounded out an animist and a leigeman primalist. Both of these mystical solos can be attached to units, there to buff their brethren and frustrate their foes.
