The Elden Ring: Rot and Sorcery boardgame is off to an impressive start on Gamefound.
Launched earlier today by Steamforged Games, this new campaign features a pair of brand new, 1–4 player core sets, both of which are fully-compatible with the previous Elden Ring boardgame. Gameplay is said to ‘boast 80+ hours of cooperative play’ in which players will ‘explore an open world of decaying grandeur’. These explorations will lead to encounters with ‘familiar characters’, and ‘groundbreaking diceless, grid-based combat’ with ‘lethal enemies’.
The campaign features two hefty boxes, each of which offers the opportunity for players to explore Liurnia and Caelid. Needless to say, these explorations will lead to many and varied encounters with a panoply of villains and beasties.
If you missed the previous Elden Ring crowdfunding campaign, then fear not; Rot and Sorcery also offers the opportunity to purchase the Realm of the Grafted King box (as featured in Steamforged Games’ 2022 Elden Ring Kickstarter campaign)
This impressive new campaign is already over 800% funded and unlocking new content.
