Warlord Games have released a pair of new plastic Bolt Action kits: the Italian AB41/43 and the American Studebaker.
Produced in their thousands during WWII, the dependable and rugged Studebaker US6 (G630) 2+1⁄2-ton 6×6 and 5-ton 6×4 trucks were produced by the Studebaker Corporation and REO Motor Car Company. They saw action not only with the U.S. Army, but also with the Soviet Union, which purchased large numbers of the truck. Both the U.S. and Soviet armies used these trucks in a multitude roles; these included towing artillery pieces and anti-tank guns, and transporting troops over long distances. The Soviet Red Army also used them as platforms for their Katyusha rocket launchers,
The Autoblinda AB41 armoured car was another accomplished vehicle which offered the Italian and German armies a combination of mobility, protection and offence. Used as light reconnaissance vehicles, the AB41 and later AB43 variants were produced in large numbers; the latter continued to be used by the German army even after the Italian surrender.
The AB41/43 is a great addition to your Bolt Action armoured platoons. It can be fielded in both German and Italian armies.
