From the frozen steppes of Siberia to the shattered cities of the Urals, the battle for the Motherland has begun!

Compass Games have announced that their new For The Motherland! The Russian Front, 1941-44 wargame will start shipping out to pre-order customers and retail stores this month. The game, by Japanese game designer Masahiro Yamazaki, begins with the German invasion of the Soviet Union in Operation Barbarossa and finishes towards the end of the war with the German forces effectively driven back with the tide completely turning on the Eastern Front.
