Three new Marvel Crisis Protocol box sets land in stores next week.

Stores, and fans, of Atomic Mass Games Star Wars: Legion miniatures game are in for a treat this week, with three new miniature packs, as well as a pack of Upgrade Cards, hitting the shelves.

As shown in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, every clone trooper carried an implanted chip that Palpatine could trigger using the command “Order 66”. Once activated, the clones were compelled to see their Jedi commanders as enemies of the Republic and immediately turned on them. There was one unit, Clone Force 99, which was a unique squad ot clone troopers with genetic mutatrions who managed to resist Order 66, and ended up going on the run in the early days of the Galactic Empire.

Hot on the heels of the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, hitting cinemas on 22nd May, Atomic Mass Games will be releasing a range of Mandalorian sets for their Star Wars: Legion miniatures game. With an official street date of 19th June, there will be some pre-release copies available at UK Games Expo at the NEC, Birmingham, which runs from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May.

The Weequay pirates, known under a number of names including the Ohnaka Gang, is a group of such pirates led by Hondo Ohnaka that was based on Florrum, an Outer Rim planet, during the Clone Wars.

Some new characters and packs that the Atomic Mass Games team have been working on for the Marvel: Crisis Protocol Miniatures Game were revealed on Friday night at a presentation at AdeptiCon in Milwaukee. The packs show some of the figures that are duer to come out later in 2026 and into 2027.

In the next week we’re seeing four new Star Wars: Legion miniature expansions hitting the shelves, and theyhave a decidedly chilly feel to them. Yes, we’re heading to the winter wonderland that is Hoth courtesy of Atomic Mass Games latest sets.

Dormammu, Lord of the Dark Dimension and foe to the Sorcerer Supreme, is about to break through the dimensional barriers and materialize on Earth gaming tables. The Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Dormammu Ultimate Encounter, from Atomic Mass Games, has a street date of 27th March so should be available in hobby stores at the end of next week.

I’m beginning to wonder if anybody at Atomic Mass actually gets any sleep. It’s only been, like, a few minutes since they last released a bunch of Star Wars: Legion goodies (read about ‘em here!), and now we’re being treated to another trio of Marvel: Crisis Protocol figures. This new set features some of Marvel’s cosmic-themed heroes, namely Adam Warlock, Moondragon and Quasar.

It’s been a red-hot minute since Atomic Mass last revealed any new Star Wars: Legion pre-orders. Regardless, they’ve just unveiled a bunch more.
