Warlord Games’ revival of Konflikt ’47 continues with the release of three new starter sets.

Now on general release, this trio includes starter armies for the British Commonwealth, the Soviet Bloc and the Empire of Japan.

Described as ‘the perfect way to begin a British Commonwealth collection for Konflikt ’47’, the first of these releases includes a ‘a battle-ready force’; this is composed of a platoon commander in Galahad powered armour*, five Mk I automated infantry, three Mk II heavy automated infantry, five Galahad armoured infantry, one Percival medium assault walker and a Humber Mk VII armoured car.

A collection of miniatures from Warlord Games' Konflikt '47 features a large, camouflaged medium assault walker prominently displayed on the left, equipped with a turret and a large cannon. Below it, five Mk I automated infantry figures are arranged, each holding weapons, alongside three Mk II heavy automated infantry. To the right, five Galahad armoured infantry figures are shown, with a Humber Mk VII armoured car positioned at the far right, showcasing its military design. The overall color palette includes earthy tones and military greens, enhancing the thematic look of the starter army.

The Japanese set, meanwhile, is spearheaded by five Ghost Attack infantry whose suits give them the ‘the capability to phase through solid objects [and] launch co-ordinated close-quarters attacks before fading away just as quickly as they had appeared’. It also includes a platoon commander in assault-frame powered armour*, five assault-frame armoured infantry, a Type 7 Sasori light walker and a Type 97-Kai Shiboru Chi-Ha medium tank.

This trio of starter sets is rounded out by the Soviet Bloc starter army. As with their British and Japanese adversaries, this starter set includes everything you need to get this army into battle, including a Soviet Bloc platoon commander*, three Ursus infantry, three Ursus infantry with Mauls, five Moroz Gul, a DM-40 ‘Molot’ medium walker and a T-34/ZP Medium Tank.

The lower section showcases more infantry in blue and green uniforms, along with a T-34/ZP medium tank, highlighting the diverse forces available in this starter army set.

Each of these starter sets also include all the waterslide transfers, Order and Rift dice you’ll need to decorate and play your new army. Bundles which also include the above armies plus a Konflikt ‘47 rulebook and dice bag are also available

Needless to say, these starter armies are just that: the kernel of a bigger army and an ongoing hobby project. See the Warlord Games website for more information and to expand your new Konlikt ’47 forces.
