Hegemonic have continued with the political theme in their second game, World Order, which hits retail stores this week. This time players assume control of one of the four global superpowers - the United States, China, Russia, or the European Union.

The year is 2010, and the world is drastically changing. While the once-unrivaled influence of the United States is beginning to wane, other major powers are eagerly stepping onto the stage, ready to claim their piece of the geopolitical pie. In the East, Beijing is rising to become a global powerhouse. Simultaneously, Moscow is entangled in an intricate chess game with Washington, ready to counter its every move. And amidst these tumultuous waters, the European Union is trying to carve out its identity and role in the international stage.

In addition to the main game, which takes an avergae of 2-3 hours to play for 2-4 players ages 14+, two expansion sets are being simutaneously released.

World in Turmoil expands the game with real world events that have taken place since 2010, allowing players to not only navigate their effect on global relations but also have a chance to prevent them and change the course of history. Events such as the pandemic, Brexit, and the tensions and subsequent conflict in Ukraine are all includes.

Diplomacy & Dominance adds a number of new challenges and game modes to the game, including introducing Automa rules allowing solo play against one or more automa opponents, with two difficulty levels to choose from.
