No Shelter in the City: The Latest Vaesen RPG Release Offers No Shelter

Vaesen, the Nordic Horror Roleplaying Game, takes us to Stockholm in City of My Nightmares, a new full-length campaign released today from Free League Publishing. The four part campaign takes the players into a dark, investigative mystery set in the 19th century Swedish city.

What starts as a local investigation into a series of murders quickly escalates into a far reaching conspiracy tied to the Society itself, threatening to plunge the city into chaos.

“Did you think you were safe from the vaesen in the crowds and lights of the city? Think again. Unspeakable horrors lurk in the dark alleys, crawl underneath the cobblestone streets, or soar through the twilight skies above.”

Whilst City of My Nightmares is set in Stockholm it can be adapted to London, Prague, or any Gothic metriopolis of the era. The 120-page hardcover also includes a separate large map of Stockholm and a huige newspaper handout.
