Ketil Trout Miniatures' Famhairean Now in its Final Fortnight
Body
Ketil Trout Miniatures’ debut Kickstarter campaign ends in two weeks’ time.
Entitled Famhairean, This campaign features ten hand-sculpted, multi-part miniatures. 28mm in scale and inspired by Celtic mythology, these new miniatures portray the titular Famhairean, a race of creatures said to inhabit ‘coastal marshes [and] crumbling ruins obscured by mystical mists’. These new miniatures are wonderfully characterful and highly detailed; they are also the first miniatures sculpted by Andrew Macdonald, who not only painted said minis, but also created the terrain featured in the campaign’s photography and drew the illustrations; show-off.
Also, to further underline how sickeningly talented he is, Andrew has created a very, very cool set of hand-sculpted shields; these are available as part of the Famhairean Kickstarter. They feature are variety of scowling moons, gurning faces, tusked cyclopes and intricate knotwork; all of which makes them eminently suitable for a goblinoid or similarly evil army.
This campaign is already fully-funded; it ends on Friday, December 5th at 12:47 PM UTC.
