Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks Set 2 Crushing it on Kickstarter

Steve Jackson Games’ second Fighting Fantasy box set is now live on Kickstarter…

…And it’s safe to say it’s doing rather well. Less than 24 hours into this new campaign and almost 800 backers have already pledged (at the time of writing) in excess of £59,000.

It’s easy to see why; this campaign combines nostalgia with a really, really sweet set of reprints, hitting gamers in the feels and in the needs. This new set—the second in the series—includes books 6–10 in this series of reissues (namely Island of the Lizard King, Scorpion Swamp, Caverns of the Snow Witch,House of Hell, and Creature of Havoc) with options to also add other shiny things: these include a slipcase for your new books, the previous set of reprints (The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, City of Thieves, The Citadel of Chaos and The Forest of Doom), and a copy of House of Hades (which is just the same as House of Hell, but it has the alternative title which the publisher had to use in order for the book to be released in the U.S. back in the day).

Other add-ons include titles from the Choose Cthulhu and The Fantasy Trip series of solo-adventure gamebooks.
