(Crowdfund Quest) MYSTIC COMPANIONS RPG Pets, Familiars & Animal Allies

Crowdfund Quest is a daily column that takes us on an expedition into tabletop crowdfunding with a look at a current project in the tabletop gaming world.

Whether they are helping track enemies through dense forest, scouting dangerous territory from above, or simply offering comfort after a difficult battle or encounter, animal companions can be of great benefit to adventurers. In fantasy RPGs the benefits are not only what your faithful animal companion can offer you in game terms, but can also help enrich the gaming experience and become memorable characters in the story in their own right.

Todays crowdfunder under the spotlight offers us a collection of over 80 fantasy animal companions, familiars, pets and war beasts in a very affordable range of STL miniatures.

The Mystic Companions range, by BEASTFORGE, gives us a core range of 80 32mm scale miniatures across five themed ranges - Classic Hero Companions, Magic Familiars, Exotic Companions, Dark & Edgy Companions and Grimdark War Beasts. This range has already been enhanced by several additional figures through stretchgoals that have already been achieved.

The range offers two sculpts for each figure - a calm post and an action pose.
