It’s Warmachine Wednesday, and that means Steamforged Games have given us a glimpse of their forthcoming releases.
Unveiled today on the Steamforged Games website, this new of tranche of models includes the latest Iron Liche, Mortenebra. A former follower of Cyriss, Mortenebra has now renounced the machine goddess and become a devotee of Lord Toruk, the Dragonfather of Cryx. This new version of Mortenebra is, as you would expect from a Cryx warcaster, suitably icky.

But, if Mortenebra thinks she’s going to have an easy ride as a Cryx warcaster, the forces of Cygnar are ready to burst her necrotic bubble. Captain Connor "Boom Boom" McCoy, for instance, has a new assault strider and he’s busting to use it. This new version of McCoy—assault stride and all—is now available for pre-order. His background, rules and stats are also now available—exclusively, we might add—on the Warmachine app.

The Lupine Shifted is another new addition to the Warmachine range. Fighting tooth and claw for Circle Orboros, this furry fury is ready to gut any pigs who get in his way.

See the Steamforged Games website for more details.

A detailed steampunk miniature of Mortenebra, the Iron Liche, stands prominently on the left, featuring intricate armor with green and gold accents, large metallic wings, and a skeletal visage. On the right, a fierce creature resembling a werewolf is depicted, with a muscular build, wild fur, and a menacing expression, adorned with foliage and sharp claws. Both figures are set against contrasting dark and moody backgrounds, highlighting their unique designs.

A detailed miniature of a fierce creature stands on a circular base, showcasing a blend of organic and monstrous features. The creature has a muscular build, covered in green foliage and sharp spikes, with a wild mane of hair and glowing red eyes that convey a menacing presence. Its pose suggests an aggressive stance, ready to pounce, with a background of blurred keyboard keys, indicating a workspace setting.

She is adorned with a mix of dark metallic armor and vibrant green accents, with large, menacing wings extending from her back. The background features a blurred industrial setting, enhancing the steampunk aesthetic, while a banner at the bottom reads "MORTENEBRA PERFECTED."

A stylized illustration features Captain Connor "Boom Boom" McCoy standing atop a large, armored warjack. The warjack is primarily painted in shades of blue and gold, with various mechanical details, including multiple cannons and a prominent skull emblem. McCoy, wearing a red cape and goggles, points forward confidently, ready for action, while the base of the image shows cracked stone, suggesting a dynamic battlefield setting.
