Games Workshop have previewed two forthcoming Combat Patrols.
Revealed today on the Games Workshop website, this pair of patrols includes Harlequins and the Death Korps of Krieg. The Harlequins feature two Skyweavers, a Starweaver and a Shadowseer as well as troupe of Harlequins and their Troupe Master.
The perfect contrast to the riotously colourful Harlequins, the Death Korps of Krieg are as deadly as they are drab. Their new Combat Patrol includes ten Death Korps troopers, a Command Squad, a Heavy Weapons Squad and five Death Rider cavalry; this combination allows them to run down their enemies at speed and demolish their opposition from a distance
Both of these sets are a great way to begin a new 40k army. They include enough models to field a small-scale force, but not enough to overwhelm a beginner. They also make a rewarding hobby project, especially for a hobbyist looking for a new challenge that isn’t going to take too long.
These two patrols will be released soon, and their rules will be available on the Warhammer 40,000 app shortly afterward.
See the Games Workshop website for more details.
