It’s your last chance to back RKX Miniatures’ latest Kickstarter, Fall of Berlin: Part 2.
The sequel to last year’s Fall of Berlin: Part 1—which focused on the Soviet forces engaged in this final battle of WWII—this latest campaign showcases the German AFVs, weapons teams and infantry which defended Berlin in 1945.
The campaign’s core miniatures include various Volksturm and Hitler Youth infantry, a Panzershreck team and a 8.8cm artillery piece.
The suite of add-ons featured in the campaign is comprised of not only a handsome selection of scenic bases, but also an expansive range of Soviet and Fallschirmjäger infantry and armoured vehicles as offered in the first Fall of Berlin Kickstarter.
Fall of Berlin: Part 2 is fully-funded and has unlocked a number of enticing stretch goals; these include infantry such as Kriegsmarine, Hitler Youth , Charlemagne SS and Volkssturm units, and a selection of armour and vehicles including the Pantherturm, the SDKFZ 234/4, and ‘the last Tiger’: a Tiger tank abandoned by its crew near the Brandenburg gate in the face of the Soviet advance. Stretch goals such as a Nachtjager team, the Bordward Panzerjager Wanze and the LG37 remain locked at the time of writing.
This campaign ends on Monday, September 8th at 12:58 PM British summer time. All the miniatures, bases, vehicles etc included therein will be provided as STL files; the campaign does not include physical miniatures or kits. See the Kickstarter page for more details.
