Epic Warpath is now available for pre-order.
The latest sci-fi offering from Mantic Games, Epic Warpath brings expansive, 10mm-scale wargaming to your gaming table. Designed to allow players to field ‘vast armies of aliens and humankind’, this new wargame promises epic sci-fi action on distant worlds.
The first tranche of releases is centred around the Epic Warpath Battle for Phrovox starter set; this two-player set contains not only all the rules, tokens and dice required to play, but also 440 plastic miniatures divided into two armies (the Earth’s elite Enforcers and the ‘infectious and horrifying’ Plague).
This starter set is available on its own, or in one of the various of pre-order bundles now on offer from Mantic. All of these bundles feature various combinations derived from first wave of Epic Warpath goodies; these include:
Epic Warpath Asterian core army and reinforcements packs: the Asterian Empire predates mankind’s understanding of the heavens, and now they want to blast the human upstarts back into the Stone Age.
Epic Warpath Asterian Cairn Command Centre: this mobile command possesses ‘light-bending active camouflage’ as well as the ability to teleport across the battlefield.
Epic Warpath Enforcer core army and reinforcements packs: described as ‘ruthless, surgical and unforgiving’, the Enforcers are Earth’s ‘hard-hitting elite soldiers’.
Enforcer Drakon: carriers designed to deploy Enforcer armour and infantry into the heart of the battle.
Epic Warpath Forge Father core army and reinforcements packs: this ‘technically superior ancient civilisation’ presents stubborn opposition to their interstellar neighbours:
Epic Warpath Forge Father Hrungnir Magma Destroyer: this ‘colossal armoured vehicle’ is the Forge Fathers’ go-to option when ‘utter annihilation of an enemy is the only option’.
Epic Warpath Plague core army and reinforcements packs: an intelligent, alien bio-weapon, the Plague pursues interstellar domination through infection.
Plague Colossus: a twenty-five metres tall, armoured beastie with big claws and even bigger teeth:
Epic Warpath building pack: a set of modular, epic-scale, ruined buildings and fortified outposts:
Epic Warpath XL building pack: as above, but bigly bigger:
