Grimdark Future: Broken Truth Coming to Gamefound in September

One Page Rules will launch their Gamefound campaign for Grimdark Future: Broken Truth in September.

Described as a ‘massive 2-player box for grimdark future’, this new project from One page Rules marks the latest evolution of the popular, rules-light tabletop sci-fi skirmish game. This forthcoming, boxed edition will contain two full, 28m scale armies, and ‘everything you need to play including rules, tokens and terrain.’

The two armies in question will be Saurian Starhost and the Robot Legions. Described as ‘the most ancient race in the galaxy’, the former is composed of bad-ass, space-aged lizardmen who are fighting to ‘to prevent a prophesied disaster’.

A dynamic scene features a group of colorful, sci-fi lizardmen from the Saurian Starhost army, showcasing their unique designs and vibrant colors. The central figure is a larger lizardman mounted on a dinosaur-like creature, equipped with futuristic armor and a glowing blue weapon. Surrounding them are smaller lizardmen, each adorned with mechanical enhancements and distinctive armor, all set against a textured black base that adds depth to the display.

The robot legions, meanwhile, are using their ‘newly gained sentience and hard-won freedom […] to find a reason for existing.’

A collection of intricately designed miniatures from the Robot Legions faction, featuring a large, spider-like robot with multiple legs and a sleek, metallic finish, alongside smaller robotic figures in dynamic poses. The miniatures are set against a textured, brown base that resembles a barren landscape. The color palette includes shades of silver and blue, highlighting the futuristic and sci-fi aesthetic of the models.
