Kittens in Space is a fast and furry-ous card-shedding game of Lunar Cat Rescue for 1-6 players, ages 7+, which takes 10-15 minutes to play. I love the concept, and the game sounds like a great quick ‘pre-game’ or ‘after-game wrap up’ option for games nights.

Humanity’s first Lunar Kitten Adoption Center is in crisis, struggling to manage a low-gravity furball of a situation… and it’s up to you to save the day! Wedged between sleek skyscrapers in a bustling lunar metropolis, the shelter makes brilliant use of vertical space—because hey, low gravity means high stacking. What looks cramped by Earth standards is actually a cozy, multi-level paradise for space kittens.

In Kittens in Space, a fast & furry-ous card-shedding game for 1–6 players, you’ll race to rescue and rehome adorable cosmic cats before your opponents can. Play cards on multiple shifting stacks, balancing luck and strategy, and be the first to shed your hand to win. 

It’s competitive. It’s chaotic. It’s cat-astrophically cute.

Kittens in Space is published by Dead Alive Games, and was originally funded on Kickstarter in August 2025. The game is currently finishing it’s fulfilment to the backers of the crowdfunding campaign, so hopefully we’ll start seeing copies cropping up in gaming stores, and on gaming tables, shortly.
