(RPG PDF Spotlight) Girl Frame

A futuristic industrial setting with a large red neon sign reading "GIRL FRAME" at the top. In the foreground, a woman with long brown hair and glowing red eyes wears a form-fitting suit with circular red accents and a red energy whip. Behind her, a towering red and black mech suit with glowing red eyes and sharp, angular limbs stands in a dynamic pose, as if ready for action. The background features metal scaffolding, pipes, and industrial structures, illuminated by a warm, glowing light.

Girl Frame

Core Rulebook by Anxious Mimic RPGs

GIRL FRAME is a TTRPG using the Powered by the Apocalypse Engine (specifically the version designed for Apocalypse Keys) to tell a story about lesbian pilots, forced into half-living mech suits and sent by their Handler to kill Gorgons - eldritch beings from outside reality.

This is an Ashcan, but is a fully playable game, including:

  • 10 Girl Playbooks, including the Mockingbird, the Newgirl, the Stim-Blissed, and the Casualty.

  • Frame Playbooks, including The PrinceCONSUME, and Wyvern 0.4

  • Handler Playbooks: the Mistress, the Dogrunner, the Scientist, and the Frantic

  • 6 different classes of the eldritch Gorgons and 6 different types, including MotherIncubus, and Doppelganger.

  • Harpy (corrupted Girl) Playbook, and 5 different Rebel Playbooks

Use TagsPermissions, and Punishments to get your way. Mess with each other's Status to become the Ace or the Dog. Give orders, and have messy relationships. Die horribly in battle, or be corrupted into something beyond human. Get in the Frame. Obey your Handler.

Inspirations: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mobile Suit Gundam, Armoured Core, 86, Heaven Will Be Mine, the Mechsploitation Genre.
