Nordic SkaldsEater of Worlds is a campaign, consisting of five interlinked scenarios. The player characters follow a trail of nefarious rogue scientist doctor Wana through the Third Horizon, while uncovering a vast conspiracy and an ancient, planet-ending, threat.

The campaign was originally created and played by one of Sweden’s most prominent actual play podcasts. Now being turned into print for the first time, the scenarios has been expanded and additional background has been added.

Three of the scenarios feature vast and populated sites rife with conflict, danger and opportunity. Here, the player characters must find their own particular route to their goal, based on their backgrounds, skills and whims. Every group has a different story. And while the other two scenarios are more straight-forward in their design, they’re certainly not without choices that have very different, very noticable consequences.

Eater of Worlds builds its deep background on one of the central mysteries of the Third Horizon. Through the three different themes, the campaign eventually offers its own varying explanations (and potentially horrifying implications) of the nature of the Icons. As the campaign progresses and the characters learn more, faith and science alike will be tested. What they learn might change them to their cores.
