Ereb Altor - Dragonbane's Original Swedish Setting Set for English Release

It’s been almost forty years since Ereb Altor was first introduced to the world in the Swedish Sinkadus magazine. It became the first major campaign world for the Dragonbane RPG and, thanks to Helmgast AB and Astrolab Game Studios, will be seeing an English-language release later this year after a crowdfunding campaign due this summer.

Three award trophies are displayed, each representing a different category of the Spiel des Jahres. The red trophy, labeled "Spiel des Jahres," features a laurel wreath design, symbolizing the Game of the Year. The gray trophy, labeled "Kennerspiel des Jahres," represents the Connoisseur Game of the Year, while the blue trophy, labeled "Kinderspiel des Jahres," signifies the Children's Game of the Year. All trophies are marked with the text "KRITIKERPREIS" at the base.

The Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) awards were first created in 1978, celebrating the best in board and card game design. Even being nominated for the award can bring in a massive sales boost for the games, with the winner often selling 500,000+ copies. It is one of the few awards in the games industry that has a major effect on sales and exposure. The awards, and nominations, are usually covered in the mainstream news in Germany.

Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo all walk into a pizza joint… all are icons and classic fighters but that’s not the only similarity between them any longer. Now they have all been immortalised in two new Unmatched sets by Iello which will be hitting stores next week.

New GMT Games Releases for early May

GMT Games have four new titles due to hit stores in early May, covering Medieval Italy, Submarine warfare during the American Civil War, a solo kit for the Cuban Revolution and a Presidential update kit.

A dramatic illustration features five dragons emerging from a volcanic landscape, each representing a different elemental color: red, blue, green, black, and white. The dragons are depicted with fierce expressions, and they are breathing streams of colored energy—red, blue, green, and yellow—into a central glowing D20 die, which is emblazoned with the letters "DM." The background is filled with fiery and smoky textures, enhancing the intense atmosphere of the scene.
Wizards of the Coast Announce 'Dungeon Masters' Actual Play Series

Actual play shows, such as Critical Role and Dimension 20 have been massively popular over the last ten years. Episodes can attract millions of viewers and Critical Role have sold out arenas across the globe, including Wembley Arena shows that sold out in under an hour. Dungeons & Dragons has often been the game of choice for shows and now D&D publisher Wizards of the Coast is getting in to the act with a new actual play series called ‘Dungeon Masters’ launching on YouTube on 22nd April.
