Guild Ball Lumberjacks Now on General Release

Steamforged Games new Guild Ball team, the Lumberjacks, are now available.

Described as ‘Honest professionals with no duplicity or ulterior motives’, the Lumberjacks are a Minor Guild ‘who’ve swapped sawdust for the spotlight of the pitch’.

This new team’s game plan revolves around Log Piles. Described as ‘Sturdy stacks of timber that turn the pitch into their workshop’, two of these stacks are placed on the pitch at the beginning of the game. As play progresses, the log piles can be hauled around the pitch by the Lumberjacks; this gives the ‘Jacks ‘cover, better movement, and stronger attacks’. However, only two of these Log Piles are allowed on the pitch, putting the onus on smart positioning.

This new release includes two log piles and eight lumberjack miniatures. Also, if you want to add a little more manpower to this new team, Steamforged have also released a further pack of miniatures which includes two more Lumberjacks, Flint and Mallet…

…And before you ask, this team doesn’t wear women’s clothing, and it doesn’t hang around in bars.
