Everdell Emerland Kickstarter Ends Soon

The Everdell Emerland Kickstarter campaign has entered its final few days.

Launched by Tycoon Games, Everdell Emerland invites fans of the popular anthropomorphic boardgame to ‘Journey west of the Everdell Valley and explore the lush jungles of Emerland!’ Said jungles take the form of ‘bustling jungles [in which] a new civilization thrives amidst ancient ruins’.

The latest addition to Everdell's Edge of the Map series, this third expansion expands Everdell’s ‘cozy city-building gameplay’ by introducing the ‘vibrant jungles’ which lie to the west of the Everdell Valley. It promises the familiar combination of ccreatures and construction with which fans of the series will already be familiar, all the while offering players ‘a new city, […] countless new critters [and] a legendary, lost city filled to the brim with treasure!’

The campaign is centred on the boxed Emerland expansion, which is boasts a gameboard, a rulebook, a jungle ruin structure similar to the tree found in the core Everdale’ game, a deck of 100 double-sided cards, a wealth of new meeples and all the dice, tokens etc you'll need to play.

Add-ons include deluxe resource vessels, blankets, plush toys and a whole lot more.

At the time of writing, this campaign has already attracted in excess of £550,000 worth of pledges and, in doing so, obliterating its funding goal of £22,441 goal.
