Modiphius Preview Andorians and Aenar for Star Trek Adventures Second Edition

Modiphius continue to bring us insights into the second edition of Star Trek Adventures. Their latest blog post gives us an insight into the Andorians and Aenar.

Andorians have become a staple part of the Star Trek universe since their debut in the original series' episode, Journey to Babel. Their telepathic cousins the Aenar are more recent additions. No doubt those fans and roleplayers wishing to explore the more niche corners of the Star Trek universe will welcome the opportunity to play both of these unique species.

See the Modiphius website for more details.

The Sky's the Limit for Kill Team: Hivestorm

Another day, another preview from Games Workshop. This time they're stylin' and profilin' with the new Kill Team: Hivestorm box set.

An article released today on the Warhammer site describes Hivestorm as 'a whole new edition of Kill Team' which pits two teams of Tempestus Aquilon and Vespid Stingwings against one another. These squads are represented by a host of dynamic, multi-part plastic miniatures.

The box set includes a softback edition of the updated rules (with a hardback version due for release later in the year). This book contains 'Updated rules [that] make it even easier to pit your squad of elite specialists against the best the galaxy has to offer.' The changes to rules are said to be 'clearer and easier to read than ever before', and the rulebook also sports 'design notes and examples [...] to clarify any tricky situations that might occur'.

Also included in the box set, the Kill Team: Hivestorm Dossier contains rules for the Tempestus Aquilon and Vespid Stingwing kill teams, as well as missions and background materials. There's also a wealth of plastic barricades, barbed wire obstacles, ladders, smoke grenades and plastic range markers.

And, just in case you wanted a bit more bang for your buck, the box set will include a pack of Approved Ops cards and two sheets of cardboard counters.

Needless to say, Tabletop Sentinel will bring you all the latest and tastiest Kill Team news just as soon as it breaks.
