A Solo Adventure in the Defiant North

Centuries ago at Valdrun, a young priest named Dorian swore an oath before Mitra's altar: to carry, hide, and protect the holy blade Solvannr, no matter the cost.

The generations of priests who followed took his name. The Sept of Dorian has kept the vow in secrecy ever since.

Baelgor the Bleak, chosen of the dark god Skjaldmar, means to end the sept by force. A blade that can kill a god is one he intends to wield, against Mitra, or against anyone else who stands in Skjaldmar's way.

Now his warband has found the Sept’s trail, as the priests are running for the jungles of Nishapur with the holy blade in hand.

The Sept of Dorian (DN8B) contains:

• A Solo Adventure designed for a single level 8 character, compatible with both Fifth Edition (5e) and Shadowdark RPG rules.

• Two pre-generated NPC Companions, Seriwyn Dunhiril and Caladrien Vaethor, each with statblocks for both 5e and Shadowdark systems.

• 8 keyed narrative areas that guide the player through a wilderness chase to recover the holy blade Solvannr.

• A map of the realm detailing the geography of the Noblejora, Nishapur, and Torgorod provinces.

• Nessa’s Armory, a specialized shop providing pricing for 5e and Shadowdark for items such as healing potions, magic scrolls, wands, and enchanted gear.

• A random encounter table with 20 unique results, including tactical combat encounters with Torgoro raiders, environmental features, and hidden treasures.

• Difficulty modes, allowing players to toggle between Normal and Heroic Mode, which doubles enemy counts and gold rewards.

• Dual-system monster statblocks for 5e and Shadowdark.

• Milestone advancement, providing a clear path for characters to progress to level 9 upon completing both DN8 adventures.
