Games Workshop have given us a glimpse at the future of the Horus Heresy.
In an article released today, the big GW teased and tantalised with a panacea of previews. First up, we’ve had a glimpse at the first tranche of new these Liber books:

This initial quintet will contain all the details you need to field Loyalist and Traitor Astartes, the Mechanicum, the Solar Auxilia, and the walkers of the Titan Legions and Knight Households. This first wave will be followed by a host of free PDFs examining smaller factions such as the Daemons of the Ruinstorm, the Imperialis Militia and the Blackshields. There will also be rules for Zone Mortalis Battles.

Fans of printed material can also look forward to the Journal Tactica series. Each of these 48-page softback expansions will focus on a different aspect of the Horus Heresy, with subjects ranging from factions, new units, key battles and more.

Of course, whilst all of the above is all very welcome, what we all really want is more victims for our piles of shame, right? Well, we’re in luck, because there are also some hot new miniatures on the way; these include MkII Assault Marines, MkIII Breachers and the Fellblade super-heavy tank.

Of course, this is very much the tip of the spear, and you can be sure we’ll see more new reveals and previews very soon. In the interim…
