Pandasaurus Games’ Dinosaur Island: Fully Charged Kickstarter has now entered its final fortnight.
Some mad man with a firm grasp of cloning technology—but no clue whatsoever about health and safety—has opened a new version of Dinosaur Island, and everyone’s invited!
Now very, very funded on Kickstarter (to the tune of £170,636 at the time of writing), this newly-updated, definitive version of the popular Dinosaur Island boardgame promises to be ‘the best version of the game that has ever existed’.
The chief attraction (pun intended) of this new version are magnetic dinosaur meeples ‘that stay in place’, sticking to the punchboards which now have metal inserted into layers of cardboard. This redux edition also promises neoprene mats and new game content. Perhaps more important—but less glamourous—changes have also been made to the rules, which now boast ‘balance tweeks to dinosaurs, changes in the order of scoring, changes in the aquatic dinosaurs and the small carnivores mechanisms’.
Backers can look forward to a box stuffed with components; these will include almost 200 magnetic dinosaurs and marine creatures; 45 magnetic meeples, oodles of tokens, a first player slap bracelet and more dice than the WinStar World Casino.
This new edition is a Kickstarter exclusive and will not distributed to retail.
Dinosaur Island: Fully Charged ends on Saturday, October 11th at 4:58 AM BST.

The artwork depicts a lively scene with characters interacting with dinosaurs, set against a tropical backdrop filled with palm trees and a dramatic sky.
