Forge Master Barbarians on the Rampage!

WIP renders of one of Forgemaster's forthcoming barbarian warriors

Head for the hills! The barbarians are coming!

Available soon from Forgemaster Miniatures, this new range of Visigoth barbarians blends the traditional stylistic flourishes you'd expect from historical barbarians with articles of looted Roman armour. This combination gives these new miniatures a fresh look that is one part part gladiator, one part Centurion and two-parts bad-ass!

The attached renders are WIPs, but we'll bring you the finished designs just as soon at they're available. In the interim, check out Forgemaster Miniatures' expanding range of historical, fantasy and grimdark miniatures.

New Sci-Fi Miniatures From Crooked Dice

A pair of leaders for your sci-fi forces

Crooked Dice have been creating some of the industry's very best pop-culture inspired miniatures for years, and their new releases continue that trend.

This new wave of miniatures pay homage to some of the TV and cinemas most well-loved films and TV shows. It includes a quartet of men and women in black, four digital freedom fighters, the heroes and leaders of a rag-tag fleet of fugitives, and our personal favourite, a time-travelling robot dog.

These miniatures will be released on Wednesday 31st July and will be available on the Crooked Dice webstore.

I'm John and so is my Wife!

Movie still of crucifixion theme from 'The Life of Brian' where a man is bound to a cross.
I'm John and so is my Wife

This looks great! Released under creative commons (so free to use, remix and republish) it has very simple mechanics and relies on 'theatre of the mind', which is appropriate given 'John' is having a 'neuro-spicey' day. I don't have any friends to play with, but that's ok, i'll just play with the voices in my head.

Design a soundscape for your game

Tabletop audio

My first thought was this might be a bit cheesy and gimmicky. I'm colouring myself pleasantly surprised! This is great fun, like an etch a sketch for audio or audio lego. Right now i have some bubbling going on and an ominous bass growl on repeat. Better than some ambient albums i've tried to listen to.
