RPG PDF Spotlights is our daily look at a recent release for a new tabletop roleplaying game, supplement or scenario, or solo journaling game, that has caught my eye.

Zombie Braineaters! Night of the Ghouls

RPG by Ham and Egg Publishing

They're coming to get you, Barbra.

Evans City Cemetery, 1968. The recent dead are walking. Fight your way out of the graveyard, board up the farmhouse, and hold the line until dawn. Then pray the Sheriff's posse believes you're still human.

Zombie Braineaters! Night of the Ghouls drops your table into the film that built the modern zombie. Ben wants the house boarded up. Harry wants everyone in the cellar. Pick a side. Two scenarios. Multiple endings. Your group only gets one.

HOW IT PLAYS
Roll a 5 to stay alive. Get hurt, and your die shrinks. Die before dawn, and you're back as a new Survivor. Once the Last Stand starts, dead is undead.

• Siege Preparations: 6 turns to board the windows, search the house, and argue about the cellar
• The Siege: 8 turns of the dead clawing at every door and window
• The Last Stand: hold the farmhouse until sunrise, or make a run for Ben's truck and the padlocked gas pump
• Dawn at the Farmhouse: The Sheriff and his posse shoot first, and ask questions later.

INSIDE THE ZINE

• Six ready-to-play Survivors
• 5Alive RPG Quickplay Rules
• Farmhouse floor plans for all four levels: first floor, second floor, attic, and cellar. Photocopy them for your table.
• d12 Weapons and d10 Gear search tables, plus Molotov Cocktail rules
• Read-aloud text, including the full TV broadcast
• Johnny comes back for Barbra
