Slightly Reckless Games are preparing to launch a pair of expansions for their Rōnin RPG.
Entitled Densetsu and The Book of Yo, these two books promise to explore some of the legends which endure on the island of Kage no Shima.
With rules based on the MÖRK BORG, system, Rōnin is described as a ‘critically acclaimed, rule-lite, dark fantasy samurai RPG’. A game of honour, combat, and adventure, Rōnin is set in a mythical, samurai-inspired world. These forthcoming releases promise to further expand that world.
Densetsu is a 200-page examination of the ’warriors, myths and sacred relics which shaped Kage no Shima. This examination will detail the island’s sacred ceremonies and forbidden rituals, landmarks, cultural events, ancient weapons and mystical relics. New mini-adventures, character classes and expanded rules for armour are also included.
Also weighing in at 200 pages. The Book of Yo is a deep-dive into the supernatural creatures which haunt and prey upon Kage no Shima. It includes details of and rules for more than 100 yokai, rituals, corruption and transformation, cursed artefacts, forbidden texts, encounters, mounts and companions.
