Venture Beyond the Woods with Old Oak Games

Old Oak Games’ first 5E supplement launches soon on Kickstarter.

Entitled Beyond the Woods, this debut campaign offer a ‘new dark fantasy setting […] inspired by Irish mythology’. Set in the lands of Tír Nascath, this supplement gives players the opportunity to discover a world inspired by ancient Irish legends.

Beyond the Woods is filled with desolate cities, lost villages and ancient ruins in which hide a menagerie of monsters drawn from Irish folklore. It also makes a feature of classic, open-world fantasy roleplaying in which players can explore and customise ‘a beautiful and terrifying world […] influenced by games like Elden Ring’.

Beyond the Woods was created by award-winning Irish game designer Emmet Byrne. A veteran writer, Emmet has also contributed to The Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who and various flavours of Warhammer.
