Aconyte Books latest Mythos gamebook, Tides of Innsmouth, is now available for pre-order.
Described as an ‘action-adventure gamebook set in the popular world of Arkham Horror,’ this latest offering from Aconyte is written by veteran gamebook scribe Jonathan Green. It revolves around the reader’s investigation of a mysterious sunken pirate junk, the hostile locals, a curse, and a missing marine archaeologist.
Readers are called upon to ‘solve the riddles [and] overcome tests’ as they ‘navigate the rotten streets of the decrepit town’. They are also advised to choose wisely, as the path they take ‘might awaken horrors from beneath the sea’.
See the Aconyte website for more details.

It’s been almost forty years since Ereb Altor was first introduced to the world in the Swedish Sinkadus magazine. It became the first major campaign world for the Dragonbane RPG and, thanks to Helmgast AB and Astrolab Game Studios, will be seeing an English-language release later this year after a crowdfunding campaign due this summer.
