It’s a good day to be a Games Workshop fan.
The big GW has unveiled a host of pre-orders today, including new goodies from the Old World, a host of 40K warmachines, and some classic Blood Bowl favourites.
Fans of the Empire are particularly spoilt, with forthcoming models including heroes such as General Hans von Löwenhacke and Harald Gemunsen; a trio of wizards and their familiars; a steam tank; artillery; warrior priests; rank and file such as infantry, marksman, archers and flagellants; and a captain. Add character models such as Sir Cecil Gastonne the Wyrm Slayer, Frydaal the Chainmaker, Burlok Damminson and even the monstrous Galrauch, the Great Drake, and it’s a great time to be playing Warhammer.
It’s also a good time to an fan of old school Bloodbowl, with a number of classic miniatures being rereleased via Made to Order.
Meanwhile, in the grim darkness of the future, the forces of the Imperium are about to be bolstered not only by the Deredeo pattern dreadnought and accompanying weapons set, but also vehicles and armour such as the Arvus Lighter, the Malcador Infernus and the Valdor tank destroyer.
