Futbowel Goes Into Extra Time!

Futbowel - the tabletop fantasy WWI football game - is back.

Set in the world of the fondly-remembered Panzerfäuste skirmish game, Futbowel pitches (pun very much intended) a team of German dwarves against a team of orc Tommies in a so-called 'friendly' game of footie.

Now, after a lengthy hiatus, Futbowel has been resurrected by Wessex Games. The miniatures are available on demand via Big Jim Prints, who are also distributing the rules.

The starter set includes a rulebook, a team of WWI orcs, a team of WWI dwarves, and an exclusive gnome referee. The rulebook can also be purchased separately.

For those of you who, like me, would be thrilled to see the actual Panzerfäuste rules and miniatures return, then Wessex offers a glimmer of hope, stating both 'will be made available as and when'. But, in the interim, we'll just have to satisfy ourselves with some friendly games of footie ... with added UXBs!.
