Warlord Games have published an in-depth look at their new German veteran infantry sprue.
The company continues to rollout new Bolt Action goodies (including, of course, the third edition of their flagship WWII wargame), and these new veterans are the latest recruits for those of you fielding German armies.
These multi-part miniatures are designed to represent the ‘mid-war’ period of 1941-43. The sculpts are kinetic in their poses and dynamism, and the uniforms and kits capture the somewhat ad-hoc, personalised approach to uniforms and gear you'd expect from toughened—maybe even weary—soldiers who favour practicality and individualism over uniformity.
As with all of Warlord Games' plastic sets, the sprues included offer a diverse range of weapons and equipment. From a flamethrower and ubiquitous German weapons such as the Kar 98k, MP 40 and MG 34, to looted Soviet PPD and PPSh SMGs, you're not going to be short of options. Further individualism is made possible thanks to a generous selection of pouches, accessories, heads, pouches, map cases and other items.
